Jean Vendice

CFO Advisor

Jean is currently serving as the CFO of the PATH Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to transforming the greater Atlanta area with paths for commuters, runners, walkers, cyclists and people of all ages. Jean is also providing CFO consulting support on a project basis for clients.

Prior to JPLA,, Jean has served as a financial and strategic advisor to start-up companies seeking to raise seed capital, her most recent client being a precision medicine start-up, focused on empowering cancer patients and community-based oncologists with genomically-informed treatment options.

 

Previously, Jean worked as the head of credit research for a convertible arbitrage fund within SAC Capital. As a partner and the second employee of the $400mm fund, Jean built and led a three-person credit research team tasked with establishing credit spreads and credit quality metrics used to value the convertible bonds of portfolio companies and potential investments. Within the fund, Jean’s in-depth financial and capital structure analysis was used to identify attractive investment candidates and design adequate hedging strategies. Before SAC, Jean worked as a buy-side equity analyst at AllianceBernstein, where she was responsible for global coverage of large-cap healthcare services companies and international conglomerates for Bernstein’s flagship ($16B) “Strategic Value” product as well as the smaller “International Value” and “Emerging Markets Value” products.

Jean began her career at the Boston Consulting Group’s New York office, where she advised Fortune 500 companies on topics ranging from shareholder value creation of contemplated acquisitions to developing and implementing KPIs to assess post-merger integration success.
